ABOUT ME
My name is Celine Reijn, I’m living in Enkhuizen and I’m an Unity Game Developer.
As a Unity Game Developer, I love exploring different aspects of game creation. Whether it’s designing the UI, working on player movement, or building a level blockout, I enjoy taking on a variety of tasks. Keeping my experience broad allows me to bring fresh ideas and creative perspectives to every project I work on.

Throughout my studies, I’ve worked on several projects using the Unity Engine with C#. These projects ranged from 2D to 3D games, and about half of them were team-based collaborations. I’ve worked closely with software developers and game artists, learning how to combine technical and artistic skills to bring ideas to life.

Working in teams wasn’t always easy — everyone had different ways of thinking and working — but good communication made all the difference. We stayed connected through platforms like Discord, which helped us stay organized and make sure every project reached a playable stage. Most of the time, we had around eight hours per week to work on each project, so clear communication and teamwork were essential.

Like many developers, I’m also a passionate gamer. I love a wide range of games, from horror to life sims — some of my favorites are Minecraft, Stardew Valley, PlateUp!, and Demonologist. Outside of gaming, I enjoy creative hobbies like drawing, coloring, and making handmade cards for birthdays and special occasions.

My inspiration to become a game developer came from Lethal Company and Stardew Valley. Lethal Company was made in Unity — the same engine I use — and that’s incredibly motivating. Stardew Valley, created entirely by one developer, showed me that with creativity, persistence, and motivation, anything is possible.

In the future, I hope to create my own games. For now, I’m focused on gaining more experience by working with studios that make exciting and inspiring projects.
